Hi Allan,

Just did a quick and dirty check: I connected a 2 meter long coax cable
to my Perseus. On the other side I connected a bnc to male banana plug.
Then I moved the banana plug close to the ION 330: no spikes visible on
the waterfall. Touching the power adapter with the plug two small spikes
appeared in the 1200 to 1400 kHz range.
Disconnecting the cable from the Perseus gave a clean spectrum from 200
to 1700 kHz.
My Acer laptop generates lots more noise!
